We invite you to experience the music at Aldersgate. Music is vital to the worship of our Lord through blended offerings including both traditional and contemporary favorites.  Aldersgate maintains a long tradition of musical excellence through our choir, ensembles, and handbell choir.

Music Opportunities at Aldersgate

Adult Choir
The Adult Choir sings each Sunday during worship. Our choir is very capably led by Esther Gray and is a non-audition choir that meets and rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m. in the choir room or the sanctuary. We not only have a choir that blesses our worship time, they also are integral to the faith life of our church.

Handbell Choir
Our handbell choir, “Celebrate,” exemplifies the scripture “Make a joyful noise to the Lord…”. Rehearsals are at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings. Reading music is necessary for playing in the handbell choir, and if you would like to learn to play, we’ll teach you!

Ensembles
Many choir members are involved in solo work and participate in small  ensembles. These groups meet at different times during the week. We believe that small group and solo work strengthens our choir musically. Working in smaller groups also encourages camaraderie and allows members to become better acquainted personally.

Contemporary/Praise Team
Our Praise Team offers a blended component to our Sunday worship time by leading congregational singing with contemporary songs.

Resurrection Celebration
Your family is invited to join in our celebration of Christ's resurrection. Activities include an egg hunt, refreshments, games, and sharing of the Easter story.
